  1. Congratulations on entering the school board race.

Although I am sure we will have many disagreements over the next few weeks, I agree with your recent deleted post that the NJ.com forum can be cruel at times. I guess scrutiny goes along with the job of being a school board candidate and a school board member.

It is hard to have an intelligent conversation with the nameless entities that throw dirt your way but I still applaud you for using your real name. I do hope to see more of your posts in the future.

I am glad you are giving of your time and I look forward to sharing views, ideas and solutions in the debate with you.

    Good luck!

  2. Chris-

The reason I have not responded to this earlier is that I choose not to get into a fighting match with you. You chastise me for not responding to your questions - but at the same time were on the attack stating how many disagreements we would have over the coming weeks before you even knew who I am or what I stood for. I have been attending BOE meetings as often as I can for 11 years now - maybe not every meeting as you have been, but regularly and consistently since my oldest child was starting school. I am involved in the schools, church and clubs that my family is involved in, and always have been.

As for throwing dirt - I will not get involved with any of it. I will not acknowledge it when you do it, and I will not do it myself. I choose to go through this election process by standing on my own merits, not attempting to raise myself by stepping on someone else. I have answered all questions honestly and openly, but will not speculate in areas where I don't have all of the facts.

  3. Too bad. I agreed with a few of your statements at the debate.

As far as throwing dirt, if you think asking if you would vote yes or no on an REA contract is throwing dirt, you had best get a thicker skin.

    Good luck to you!
